I found my passion for news as early as middle school when I was anchoring the morning show. This carried into high school where I took photography classes and edited the school's yearbook. While enrolled at Arizona State University's Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication, my love for storytelling continued to grow, as I've found that journalism serves as the foundation of an informed and empowered society.
I received a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Mass Communication with a minor in Film and Media Production in spring 2023 and a Master's degree in Mass Communication in spring 2024.
When I'm not telling stories, I'm writing and producing short films, attending concerts and watching the newest movies.
In college, I interned for Hart Talent Management, PBS NewsHour, the Las Vegas Review Journal and ABC15 Arizona. I also worked as a social media specialist for ASU Media Relations and Strategic Communications.
I'm currently an MMJ/anchor/producer at KGUN 9 in Tucson where I've found a passion for human interest stories.
With my broad skillset in shooting, writing, editing, producing, reporting/anchoring and social media, I hope to work as a news reporter or producer for a national news station one day.
